On the Horizon

The past couple weeks have been busy since we got home from New Orleans and we have enjoyed spending time at home after having been traveling so much all throughout November and December.  And in the downtime, we've been making a lot of decisions about our travel this coming year and deciding on locations, timing and schedules.

I'm so excited for what's on the horizon this year and here's what we've been planning lately:

Completing final bookings for our upcoming trip to Paris, Milan and Nice in March
with a couple day trips thrown in there too!
(Coming up so soon!)

Also, on another note, I've updated my "Where I've Been" page so it's easier to navigate and find posts on certain places if you're interested.  Check it out here.

  1. What an exciting year y'all have coming up! I can't wait to see all the photos and hear about your adventures!

I spent some time in Scotland and Ireland back in June. Two places y'all must visit are Howth (a short 1 hour train ride from Dublin) and Oban (it was a 3 hour train ride from Glasgow where I was staying). Both are harbor towns and great places for hiking to castles (at least in Oban) and gorgeous scenery. So make time for both. They are both places that when you see them you will think "this is exactly what I though Scotland and Ireland would look like."

  2. Oh my goodness, I am so envious of your traveling this year :) It will be amazing, and I can't wait to see it all recapped. I wish we could get over to Europe this year, but with the baby it won't happen. Hopefully 2014 we will make it over. In the mean time, I will live through your travels :)
