The past week and a half has been crazy for me, between work, traveling and family in town for a family members surgery, it's been stressful. I've been driving back and forth to see my family, trying to fit work in between and it seems all I've been eating lately is take out. The next week or so will continue to be busy but for the first time in a while, I had the chance to just sit in silence this morning writing this, looking out at the sun rising and have nothing going on, no deadlines to meet, no where to drive to.
Sometimes we need those moments of silence, with no one else around to really evaluate everything going on in our lives. I've learned some really valuable lessons in the last week and in that, I'm thankful. Sometimes we need a moment amongst the chaos, a moment to breathe in all that's around us and all that's occurring in our lives. Sometimes that moment can revitalize you & in that moment your heart becomes clear.

couldn't agree more.
ReplyDeleteSpot on, this post is great. Those moments are great too, a little reset, when you're done you can feel like some weight has been lifted off of your shoulders. I don't know what I did before I took these little moments for myself. :)
